Weapons Cache Found at Suspect’s Home
Detectives found bomb-making materials, ballistic vests, rifles and ammunition in a search of Micah Johnson’s home, the Dallas Police Department said Friday afternoon.
The detectives descended on Mr. Johnson’s home in Mesquite, a suburb of Dallas, after he was killed in a standoff with the police the night before. He is believed to be the lone shooter in the sniper attack on police officers Thursday night.
The detectives also found a personal journal of combat tactics, the police said.
